Can I get a new mobile contract if I have been refused in the past?

The answer is yes however it is not quite as simple as if you have some sort of credit history. We have found the best ways to get accepted with the above 3 mobile networks. In order of acceptance we recommend T Mobile followed by Orange or Vodafone. All of which have the best chance of approval when you take out a sim only contract.

Can I get the new Iphone or other high value handsets when I have a bad credit rating?
We say its not impossible to get accepted, however if you want a realistic chance of getting accepted for a mobile phone deal then you should opt for a medium range phone.

Shall I get a lower priced tariff to increase my chances of Approval?
There has not seen to be a link between the cost of the tariff and whether or not you get approved as if you fail to pay your bills the network can just cut off the connection. The main risk comes with giving you a phone without immediate payment and this is why you should go for a mid range handset or even better a sim only deal.
